Blogmas Day 3 - Christmas Party Beauty Essentials

Blogmas continues on it's third day and judging by the response on Twitter & Facebook you all are loving it as much as I am.

Today I'm showing you my Christmas Party Beauty Essentials! I put together this wee collection back in November because I was excited about Christmas and wanted to be prepared early. Basically it was an excuse to buy new makeup.. As if I needed any more makeup.
At this time of year you have an excuse to go over the top with your makeup and really embrace the Christmas sparkle.
An absolute staple for your makeup bag at this time of year is shimmery eyeshadows. I had a dig around my collection and found some AMAZING ones, my faves include the new Bourjois Smokey Stories palette in 'Over Rose' which has a few pink toned colours in there, the brown one is stunning and has been worn to death recently.  I also have been loving the new Clarins Ombre Matte in "Sparkle Grey" which is like a cream to shadow formula and feels amazing without creasing.
You also will need some mascara to help those lashes POP! but for me, you cannot beat good old black mascara. The Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' mascara will do all that and then some. To top that off you will need a good flick of liner. I love the Super fine liner by L'oreal, it gets right into the inner corner and allows you to get a bit crafty with your wing. Finally for eyes, the Soap & Glory Bro Archery is the bees knees.
For skin, I like to keep it simple but flawless which is why my base products need to be tried and tested. I love the Stila Illuminating Foundation, Nars setting powder and Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer,
I looove me a bold lip, so these lippys are my fave for this time of year;-

You have the excuse to go OTT with both eyes and lips, but if you're like me and prefer to do a statement lip OR eye rather than both, then these products are definitely for you!
