Baishaki is here and I can’t wait to dress up in my very favorite clothes. Yes, I am referring to kurta and my latest love is the anarkali type and I can’t have enough of them. Also whenever I want to shop for Kurta, I usually prefer very few brands as I am more concerned about the quality of cloth, the fit and mainly they got to be fashionable.
So, if you would want me to choose a brand that I may shop for my entire life is BIBA! I have always been a huge fan of BIBA’s ethnic fashion. I love how they come up with new ideas and new patterns every time. I am here to showcase few designs from their new Spring/Summer ‘16collection.

What they say about their new collection:

Crafted from pure cotton and printed fabrics, women tops at BIBA is detailed with elements like band collar, round neckline, cap sleeves and embroidery on necklines, and hems of the tops. Pair white ankle-cut trousers with a BIBA fuchsia round neck top and make an impression on the first day of your college. Select a printed sleeveless top with Rajput Prince Motif for an ethnic feel. Flaunt a floral printed off-white base top and complement it with an ombre dyed dupatta for an unconventional look.

Wear BIBA’s ethnic tiered block printed pink handloom dress in a family function or go casual in a sleeveless pink coloured full-length tiered kurta in white floral motifs and a pair of white stilettos. Add glamour by pairing a white asymmetric patch work tiered dress with an embroidered shrug and wedges. For everyday occasions, embellish your wardrobe with timeless elegance ethnic wear by BIBA.

Also, let’s know a bit more about the brand BIBA.

BIBA is the most loved ethnic fashion brand in India.
Biba Apparels Private Limited (“Biba”), the Indian fashion giant, stands true to its name.  The brand has been dressing and embellishing demure maidens from every corner of India since 1986.  Contemporary ethnic fashion at affordable price is Biba’s commitment to fashion enthusiasts, offering ladies’ churidars and dupatta sets in cotton, in shades of every color, and with irresistible color combinations and patterns.  Mix-and-match kurta pieces from Biba are available in different lengths, so you can experience the joys of traditional Indian wear regardless of your body type.
The word “biba” is a Punjabi endearment for a young and pretty girl.  It implies sublime qualities, compelling Mrs. Meena Bindra, the founder of Biba, to use the name for the line of salwar, kameez, and dupattas that she launched in 1986.  What began as a fashionable and affordable line remains the brand’s ethos today: fashion at affordable price.  In time, new range collections were introduced.  Today, the mix-and-match range has a very contemporary sensibility, and the salwar-kameez range is very ethnic, defined by an Indian crafted look, hand-block prints, and vegetable dyes.  Indian handlooms with traditional embroideries and other techniques are applied in producing the garments.  Unstitched suits and a festive collection for two-to-12-year-old girls cater to the full demands of a woman.
Biba pioneered Bollywood merchandising in India by providing costumes for Na Tum Jano Na Hum in 2004.  It covered ten more projects, including blockbusters such as Devdas, Hulchul, and Baghban.
With BIBA, always expect a truly unique, wow-inspiring ethnic experience!
I so agree with what they say because they make their collection so very unique and ethnic.
One piece I totally loved is this Yarn dyed contemporary sleeveless strap dress with full front opening button placket and complimenting border details. The color combination is so perfect for the festivals and I liked the sleeves as they are really modern.
