Before&After-Clarisonic; Mia and Opal

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
For Christmas, my amazing mother got me a Clarisonic Mia. And both of us love that thing. She got a demonstration of the Opal at Ulta, and really liked it. So we used a gift card to purchase it. My skin has been driving me bonkers over the last month and a half; my forehead started to break out really badly(and would not stop) and would be really oily in my t-zone but dry along my jaw-line. Between switiching to Peter Thomas Roth products, using Cetaphil moisturizer at night and cleanser in the morning, my skin has really improved with using the Clarisonic Mia and Opal with these products.
I have some before and after photos to share with you so you can see the difference. I am not wearing any makeup at all, and in the last picture, I just finished my nightly skincare procedure.
Taken 12/15/11. You can see the redness, and my skin just looks so "blah." I had just started using the Peter Thomas Roth products. My skin looked a lot worse prior to that.
It is challenging to see that much of a difference based on the pictures, but I can see them in person
Taken 12/31/11My skin looks a lot brighter and more healthy. The blemishes have improved(but still need a lot of work), and so have the small bumps on my forehead(which you cannot see in the pictures) My pores also look smaller. Not sure why, but the blemishes on my forehead look a lot worse in pictures than they do in person. Now I actually feel comfortable walking outside of the house wearing a little concealer and a tinted moisturizer, which never happened before. My skin also feels a lot cleaner since using the Clarisonic. And my life is pretty stressful at the moment, which is not helping my skin at all. If you have the money, I definitley think the Mia and Opal are worth the investment. But do your research on the serum or cream you use with the Opal, which I am still doing. There is nothing wrong with the serum that comes with it, but I think there are better products out there.
