For the past few weeks I’ve been trying out Fushi’s Really Good Hair Oil*. When the bottle popped through my letterbox, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. I’ve tried Macadamia Oil, and it smells disgusting and does very little. I refuse to try Moroccan Oil. Over £30 for 100ml? No thanks. I’d pay it if the ingredients matched the price tag, but they don’t. The three main ingredients are cheap silicones found in high street treatments such as Frizz Eaze. It also contains synthetic fragrances which are banned for use in perfumes, pesticides and food colouring. Rant over.
Suffice to say that I was expecting Fushi’s oil to be equally disappointing. Oh how wrong I was! Check this out for an ingredients list: coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, Moroccan argan oil, neem and vitamin E. As for fragrance? Indian Jasmine Absolute, and it smells divine! If you like floriental type smells, you’ll love it! This oil literally contains every ingredient that I’ve ever heard is good for your hair.
It is more than a little daunting rubbing oil into your scalp. Especially if you have fine, flat hair like mine! It’s always a balancing act with my hair to find a product which will calm my frizzy curls without weighing them down, but that’s exactly what this product does. My hair feels soft, smooth and healthy after using Really Good Hair Oil. I can’t stop running my fingers through it!
I can't recommend this hair oil enough, and at half the price of Moroccan oil, what’s not to love?
