Beauty on a Budget: Gift Ideas $5 and Under from Walmart

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is look at all of the different gift sets and stocking stuffers brands come out with. One of the best places to find these inexpensive gems is Walmart. I picked up a few things to share with you guys in case you needed a few ideas. I always share things that I would love to receive myself or things I would buy for my friends and family.
Hard Candy released mini versions of their Sheer Envy Perfecting Primer, Ultra Light Primer, and Strobing Glow All The Way. The best part? They are only $1. Be sure to grab some for yourself, too. I have never tried any of these, but I have heard good things.

Another cute stocking stuffer Hard Candy has can double as an ornament. They have $1 eyeshadow duos that come in three different shades. Each one has a matte and shimmer shade. The one I have has a shimmery bronze and a matte beige.

They also have the Wish For A Kiss Lip Gloss Collection for $4.88. This comes with a tin and 6 mini Fierce Effects Daring Lip Glosses. They put a good variety of shades in this set. You have some crazy, fun shades along side classic pinks and a red.

I love Dr. Teal's products. I am a shower girl, but there is nothing like a relaxing soak with some Dr. Teal's epsom salt or their foaming bath products. Walmart has a few kits made up and I got two of them: one for me and one for my mom. I got her the Treat Your Feet set, which has the Revitalizing and Refresh Foot Soak and Pure Epsom Salt Foot Cream. My mom has peripheral neuropathy in her left foot and it has gotten progressively worse. I like getting her things like this because it helps her relax a little bit and it gives her a reason to stay off her feet. I picked out the Relax and Relief set for me. This one has the Relax and Relief Soaking Solution with eucalyptus and spearmint with the corresponding foaming bath. Both sets were only $4.88.

I don't know how good these are actually going to be, but I found these little $1 sheet masks. Each one has different packaging. For instance, one has a tomato and the other has a lemon. However, they both say moisturizing and the ingredients appear to be the same. There obviously isn't any major skincare benefits here, but they would be cute for someone just starting out.

Another $1 find are these cute cupcake shaped bath fizzes. These come in three different colors, but I am not sure about the scent. I am pretty sure they smell the sane. Of course you aren't getting a Lush bath bomb here, but it makes for a cute little stocking stuffer than any beauty lover can appreciate.

The last thing I have to share with you are these nail files by The Creme Shop. I have used their sheet masks and cleansing cloths, so I was excited to see these. They have a variety of patterns to pick from, including cats, bumble bees, and fruit.

In addition to being a makeup addict, I also love coffee mugs. Walmart had this really cute thermos that I just couldn't resist. It says "This Is My Ba Hum Mug." This was $5 as well, so I figured it had a home in this post.

I want to do more of these kind of blog posts over the next month and a half. I know I find these kind of posts enjoyable and helpful. Let me know what you guys think!
