Why did you start blogging and how long have you been blogging for?I started blogging because I have admired the way people achieve friends and gain tips/tricks through blogging. I also have been inspired by many of the blogs I read regularly and youtubers who make videos based on fashion and beauty. I have been blogging for a short time of nearly one month (Well since the end of September) I love it so far and hope it continues to surprise me!
Whose blog did you fall in love with first?
I have mentioned this before but it most definitely has to be Sammi- beautycrush or Khila- missbudgetbeauty. I love both these girls and their Youtube channel's. They inspired me to create my blog and I admire both their styles and stories. What was the first blogosphere hyped about product that you bought? Was it worth the hype?My first product I purchased that was "hyped" was my MAC lipstick in Russian Red. It has lived up to the hype that it received. I love this lipstick although I don't wear it on a daily basis. Its a lovely color and suits me well with my dark hair. My next purchase I'm thinking is Modesty by MAC!What are you five favorite things about blogging and being a Beauty Blogger?1. Seeing people appreciate your reviews and the work you put into your blog.2. I love making friends in the blogging world- All the girls are lovely and always happy to help.3. I love blogging as it gives me "my space" to write my thoughts down and say what I think about products I have bought with my own money, which makes them feel a little more than just a product.4. I love blogging as you can check up on other blogs before you review a product or look at a product you have on your wishlist and decided whether to purchase it based on the reviews.5. I love being a beauty blogger as I feel that you can help alot of other people that are maybe just starting out on make-up or want you to recommend products. What have you learnt from being a Beauty Blogger? I have learned I don't have as big of a make-up collection as I first thought! I have also learned that you don't have to have a lot of money to create beautiful looks. I have learnt that everyone has different opinions on products and just because someone has said they love a product doesn't mean that you will love it too!Have you changed anything since becoming a Beauty Blogger? Not much has changed apart from I am on my computer a lot more and my bank balance has suffered dramatically! I also have people I know complimenting my blog and asking me if I enjoy products and what I recommend. What advice would you give to a beauty blogger just starting out?Go for it! Start a blog, and spread your love. I want to stress that not everyone gets 1030329 views a day, I certainly don't and that's not a bad thing! Once you are a recognised blogger you will achieve the views you dream of and progress. Blogging is an excellent hobby and if you want to start one and your unsure, jump right in! I was unsure at first but since starting Mascara and Mirrors I have fallen in love with the blogging world. What are your top 5 makeup brands?1. Benefit- My primer heaven, I love this brand.2.
