For all us beauty addicts November is a month that consists of one very important task, deciding which beauty calendar to get of course! It's that time of year where we get bombarded with gorgeous calendar choices and each year they just get better and better. When I wrote this blog post last year it was very well received and I was deciding whether to do it again but seeing as beauty calendars are a personal favourite of mine, I thought it only right to share what is top of my list this year. Sorry it's a bit late but there is still time to bag a bargain (especially with the Black Friday sales week).
This year some beauty brands have opted for a traditional '12 days' as opposed to '24' which actually works to our advantage as it means the product is larger and better value! As you may know some are very luxurious and are more a 'main gift' as opposed to 'just a calendar' but these selected ones below really caught my eye and are what I think are great beauty investments and not just a gimmick. So l
et us start with some of my favourite more affordable priced choices ...Kérastase Luxury Advent, £80 link! (on sale now for £67!)
One for all the hair lovers out there (me included!) the first haircare calendar that offers 25 amazing mini, travel and full size products. Kérastase is my all time favourite hair brand and one that I have used for many years now, so to get this amount of product is insane. I highly recommend this calendar to anyone that wants the very best for their hair and this a great way to discover other products in the line. Is it greedy to have a few calendars? I need this one too!Selfridges Beauty, £60 link!Filled with 24 luxurious beauty treats worth a whopping £226 makes this a must have for any beauty lover including some top names such as YSL, James Read, Caudalie, Tweezerman, Eve Lom and many more. I think this is now sold out online but worth checking for in store, but do it fast!
YOU Beauty Advent, £49.95 link!
This was the top choice for many of you that read my blog post last year and with a staggering value of £300 I feel this may just be the biggest beauty saving out of them all. Featuring incredible brands such as Rodial, Molton Brown, Nuxe, Phillip Kinglsey, Benefit and many many more this is a beauty lovers dream. If you want a real mix of products then this is most definitely the best offering at the best price.Diptique, £250 link!
Candle lovers are you ready for this; Containing 15 mini candles, one full sized candle, seven 10ml EDT's, 15ml Rich Body Butter and precious oils this is one heck of a calendar! Pricey, yes but I think anyone would love to own this one as who doesn't love a Diptique candle.Charlotte Tilbury Book of Magic, £150 link!I have saved my no1 favorite for last as I can confirm that I have this one on its way over to me as we speak, so December is going to be amazing! As soon as I saw this was coming out a few months ago my mind was already made up that this was 'the one' being a huge CT fan. It may be a tad pricey but anyone that knows the line shall appreciate that the contents really do justify the cost as some items are money can't buy sizes which is totally worth it in my book. Containing a mix of both travel and full sized products this is any makeup and skincare lovers dream as the contents are a great way to discover other products in the line. I am very excited and shall share its contents on my Instagram so stay tuned to that!
There are so many more beauty advent calenders available other than the ones that I have mentioned like the famous Ciate nail calendar which started this whole beauty advent trend off but I feel once you have had those then its time some something new. These are my top picks for this year with one to suit all tastes and price ranges.
