So the other day I was in Boots and I thought, well I don't have any Barry M nail varnishes, lets get one. I went for one from their 'newer' range: Gelly Hi Shine. I got the color pomegranate. In day time, brighter light, the shade it very pink toned, almost a hot pink. But in darker lights it can seem quite dark, a red wine color. The application is great, it goes on smoothly and the brush is just the right size.
The formula is very thick but is easy to work with, with it being thick it's not gloopy or bumpy. You only need one coat with this, as the first coat is so opaque! It's amazing coverage. I have had it on for two days now and it hasn't chipped at all. And the most important thing: the shineyness... It does have a lovely shine to it but I think it could benefit from a top coat. Overall for £3.99 it is worth getting, the color is beautiful and it has lasted me well so far. A good buy, I will definitely be going back for more!See you soon.
