Bargain Shopping: Steals, Deals, and a Bad Cold
I had my post for today all planned out and was ready to start typing away. Unfortunately, April showers are in full effect here in Chicago. This week, I wore the wrong shoes, left my umbrella at work, and got completely drenched while walking to work. That combined with the weekend I spent with no coat has given me a full sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, congested, cold. So the best I can do right now is to write about 2 fantastic purchases I made last weekend. You know bargain shopping is my thing!
After prom shopping with my brother, I took him to Marshalls to find an outfit for his National Honor Society induction. I simply cannot go into a store without looking for myself. I stood in the men’s section with him trying desperately not to go into the women, handbags, and shoe sections. I was proud of myself for fighting the urge. I stood calmly as he looked through rows and rows of pants. And then it happened; he found a pair he liked and just had to try them on. In order to get to the fitting room we had to go through the women’s clothing section and the shoes. I quickly pranced through the sections and waited by the fitting room. And that’s when I spotted these
Michael Kors sandals sitting there waiting for me on clearance for $14.00. I snatched these up quick, fast, and in a hurry. When my brother came out the fitting room he looked at me standing there with my prized Marshalls find and started laughing. I told him let’s go before I do anymore damage!!!!!
I’m not a huge fan of watches, but I do like the layering bracelets over watches trend that I’ve seen. Serious arm candy is definitely my thing! So when this watch popped up on Hautelook for $29.99, I couldn’t help myself. The watch was more than half off its original retail price of $69.00. Did I mention I love bargain shopping?
