With a budget of $40 Million, Bahubali is India’s most expensive film ever made!
Over the weekend (read Friday, first show) I have been to Bahubali movie. If you’ve heard this name for first time, believe me you have been living under the rock!!A good story, spectacular locations and settings, amazing performance and with a twist at the end, this one is a must-watch movie! But the end left me like, damn the GoT; everyone learnt how to leave us hanging in between and drive us crazy!! Yes, I muttered a little curse as the sequel and the final part would come in 2016. Now, that’s an awful lot of time to wait; yes, just like GoT.
Like me, you might see a little influence of GoT (Game of Thrones), Age of Empires (game), 300 movie (style of warfare a bit), Pompeii movie (that chariot scene saving Devasena); it’s still a beautifully done movie especially the second half. Originally a Telugu movie, this is even released in Hindi version and from what I have heard from my Hindi speaking friends - they have loved every bit of it too. For me, this is first time a telugu dubbed movie is getting equally craze and fans. That said, if you haven’t seen yet; hurry and watch it! This movie is worth a big screen only!
Anyways, here’s what I wore to my movie date –
