August Favourites

Surprise surprise, it's favourites time once again! I don't have too many favourites to report back on this month as I've been reaching for a lot of old favourites and don't really fancy repeating myself about them, but thankfully there are still a few new additions and newly loved products in my life. August has been quite a busy month for me with work, job interviews, birthdays and then my operation which was a few days ago, so I haven't been going too crazy on makeup looks or skincare routines lately.

Dainty Doll Pot Concealer: I've been using this little pot of concealer for months now and still absolutely love it because of its formula and shade. This concealer is so creamy to touch which makes it really easy to apply and blend with your fingers, and as it has been specially created for paler skin, it's the perfect shade for my lighter complexion and looks great both under my eyes and also on any blemishes.
Sleek Sweet Cheeks Blush By 3: I've already raved about this blush palette in my previous post but had to include this blusher offering from Sleek as I've loved using it so much during the past month. This palette is perfect for any pink fans out there with a mix of bright and more subtle pinks in both creamy and powder formulations, and although the collection is aimed more towards summer wear I can see myself wearing these colours all year round!
Maybelline Baby Lips in Intense Care: You'll probably be thinking, "oh no not another Baby Lips post", but I just had to include this little lip balm as it has done such a good job of keeping my dry lips hydrated throughout the day. A little dab of this balm is enough to keep my lips moisturised for a few hours and the clear formula also gives my lips a lovely sheen.
Revlon Lip Butters: It's no secret that I'm a massive fan of the Revlon Lip Butters and this month has seen me make my way through my collection of shades (6 at the moment) and give them all some wear at one point or another. My two favorite shades of the month definitely have to be Juicy Papaya & Sorbet which are both newer shades that were released this spring/summer. Juicy Papaya is a gorgeous orange toned peach shade which has been perfect for everyday wear, and Sorbet is a brighter pink which I've been reaching for when I want my lips to stand out a bit more.
Essie Avenue Maintain: I'm not one for wearing many blue shades on my nails but this spring shade from Essie has completely turned that around this month. Avenue Maintain is a beautiful Parisian blue which leaves my nails looking so polished and elegant.
What have you been loving this month?
