Last Years Champion: Tiger Woods
This week the PGA Tour takes us to the Congressional Country Club for the AT&T National tournament.  Although the host of the event as well as last years champion, Tiger Woods will be on the sidelines at this years event.  Nonetheless, the field is packed with a lot of players who have been gaining momentum as of late, which will make for some fierce competition in the days ahead.  Here's a look at a few of the players I'll be keeping a close eye on...
Jason Day: Clearly with his game fine tuned, Day should be well prepared to throw down some low numbers this week.  He's had a standout year so far in 2013 with 5 top 10's, he also finished T8 at the AT&T last year.  I think Day will be keeping the pace with a great performance this week.
Hunter Mahan: He's had some ups and downs so far this season, but seems to be making strides in the right direction.  With a T4 at Merion and 11 top 25s this season, Mahan should be all set for a great week.  He also comes into this event with a fantastic history, including T8 (2007), T12 (2008), second (2009) and T8 (2012).
Adam Scott: He finished 3rd at Congressional last year and after winning the Masters this season, he's continued to play consistently leading up to this week including two top 20 finishes.
Graham DeLaet:  Coming off a great performance at last weeks Travelers Championship where he matched his career best finish 3rd, I think DeLaet will be fueled and ready for more action this week.  He's consistent in both finding fairways off the tee as well as finding greens in regulation, both which should prove useful in the days ahead.
Jason Kokrak: The Chase 54 brand ambassador, remains one of the longest hitters on tour, and although he had his ups and downs this season, he continues to make progress, chalking up two top 10's so far.  Although currently ranked 233 in the world, I think he's got a shot at another top 10 finish this week.
