I’m sure at some point in all of our lives; we’ve had moments where we didn’t want a serious relationship. We wanted to date, have fun, and have some good ass sex plain and simple. This is especially true of people who have just gotten out of a long term relationships or people who have been in some form of a committed relationship most of their adult lives. I’ve had times when I didn’t desire a relationship, in fact I didn’t desire a relationship for 3 years, I desired friends to hang out with and a special friend to share some good moments with nothing more, nothing less. As time went on, I evolved and desired something more fulfilling, worthwhile, and substantial. I desired intimacy instead of sex and wanted a companion instead of just company. I thought at some point everybody desired those things, but I’m finding that this is not the case for some people. What happened to evolution? Aren’t we all supposed to evolve at some point? I thought every living thing desired love. Do some people not want to experience what it feels like to be loved, to actual make love, and to see the beauty that love holds? After a certain age; let’s face it, you’re to old to be chasing people for sex!
I’m a huge fan of sex, hell I love sex just as much as the next person but in the end, sex is not the most important thing; it’s actually only a piece of the puzzle. As we evolve, shouldn’t we desire more than just a piece of the puzzle? I know I do! The older I got the more I wanted someone who desired all of me and not just a piece of me ♥
