Astralingua: A Poison Tree

Posted on the 07 December 2018 by Hctf @hctf

Denver, Colorado based space folk duo Astralingua have set the William Blake poem A Poison Tree to music. Blake is one of the greatest poets from the Romantic era. His vivid imagery has aged well and continues to inspire. Composer Joseph Andrew Thompson and vocalist Anne Rose Thompson created a dark yet pastoral backing to enhance the words to tell the tale of anger and finally death.

A Poison Tree is a self-released single. Buy it from their website. The track will be included on their forthcoming full-length Safe Passage for release on March 8th, 2019. They used Blake's paintings for the video.
