And So It Begins ...

By Tamera Beardsley @tamerabeardsley

Wedding plans are beginning here.
After a magical engagementanda beautiful engagement party  ...

It is now time to focus on the main event.

We have already been shopping venueslike the  Villa's open housewhere these pictures were taken.
If the Villa had been in our price rangeit would have definitely been my first pick.

Maybe this is the cruxof my slow to build enthusiasmfor the main event.
I want it to be so perfectbut then the reality of a budget comes into play.
We even have in my minda good budget …but I can see how easily it would be for me to loose my mindwith wanting all of the extras …
but then I remind myselfI have always been a consummatedo it your selfernever afraid of the work involvedand trust that I can pull off a gorgeous wedding for my precious daughter.

Maybe I should write a mission statement to remind myselfwhat is important in the day.
To remind myselfa wedding is a sacred moment
When two lives are joined as oneforever.
The coming togetherof two families both watching their children leavethe familyto begin one of their own.
To remembera wedding is also alwayssuch a powerful reminderof the  beauty of true love.

I want to remember what a gift it isthat my daughterhas foundher one true loveand I couldn't be prouder of the choice she has madeand the man that Elliot is.This momma is ever so gratefulto see her daughterloveandbe loved so well.
So this weekendwhen Ellis and I take the train  to the big wedding convention in San DiegoI will remember
that a weddingis a sacred dayof two lives coming togetherto be celebratedwith the ones you love.
I will not be thrown offby all of the visual noises and choicesI will keep my eye on the prizeand goalof making a sacred momentbeautifuland memorable.

Now we just need to find the venue.

As always my friends
I wish you love and joy aas you style your life
