Considered the "World's Greatest Living Explorer," Ranulph Fiennes has quite a resume filled with adventure. Over his extensive career, he has visited both the North and South Pole, climbed Everest, run a marathon on each of the seven continents, in seven days, and crossed the Northwest Passage, amongst other expeditions. He was even part of a team that discovered a lost city in Oman. To say he is a legend in the exploration community would be an understatement.
Tickets for the event are available here for all who are interested.
The host of the evening will be Jim McNeill, an accomplished explorer in his own right. Jim's Ice Warrior organization supports expeditions to the polar regions of our planet, and his year's of experience in those places have given him unique perspectives on those regions. The event with Sir Ran will also serve as a launching point for his next adventure, a journey to the North Pole of Inaccessibility, located in the heart of the Arctic Ocean. This journey has been in the planning for some time, but it looks like it will soon become a reality.
If you're lucky enough to be in London next week Wednesday, and you want to spend the evening with two amazing explorers, than this is pretty much an event you don't want to miss. Find out more by clicking here.
