This was the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen. It was taken on my first official day in the Antarctic aboard the research vessel Akademik Ioffe with One Ocean Expedition. To have seen the sea saw calm and such amazing light was a wonderful reward after three days crossing the dangerous and wild Drake Passage, from Ushuaia to the Antarctic peninsula.
