Full Size Santaverde Aloe Vera Cleansing Gel RRP £22.00I’ve never tried this brand before so I was really pleased to try this product. The main ingredients are aloe vera and apple juice which gives it a delicious, fresh and fruity smell.
The consistency is very runny to be described as a gel and it foams a lot when you use it so to me this is more like a face wash style cleanser. My skin did feel very clean and fresh after use and there was none of the tightness or uncomfortableness you can sometimes get after cleansing your face. I’m happy to continue using this cleanser.
Trial Size Iroisie Ultimate BB Cream (Full Size) RRP: £29.90
Iroisie are new to Amarya and I bought the Iroisie Gentle Face Cleanser Gel from them recently and was sent this BB Cream sample as a little extra with that. I was happy to make use of another sample of it again though.
This BB cream is very thick and gives great coverage. It also smells lovely and fresh and has SPF 25 in it. This is a higher SPF than most BB creams. Unfortunately for me though this is too thick for everyday use so I’ll be sticking to my much loved Terre d’Oc Antipollution Foundation.
Trial Size John Masters Vitamin C Anti-Aging Face Serum (Full Size) RRP £32.00
This is a really strange texture and consistency for a serum. It sort of looks like Manuka honey! It’s strangely watery though and felt more like a face wash than a moisturiser when I put it on. It smells exactly like my Granny’s face cream which I didn’t find pleasant, sorry Granny!
This moisturiser made my face feel sticky and tight but it is for older or dry skin and I have neither of these. It was nice to get to try this but I won’t be purchasing the full size version any time soon.
