We got one of their larger loft rooms. The over 800 square feet of the roomprovided ample room to settle in hotel.
One of my favorite details in the Ace Hotel roomsare the old school record playersand vintage vinyls.
Our loft room had windows on three sidesso this fabulous bathroom was flooded with natural light!
How adorable are these soap tags. It's these little details at the Ace that made my heart so happy!
How genius are these black towels for makeup removal!
Talk about a tub with a view!
This turquoise building is the Eastern Columbia Buildingone of my very favorites in Downtown LAso to have a perfect bathing view was over the top cool for me!
The Ace Hotel DTLA was originally built in 1927
as the offices of United Artists.
The 13 story building was designed by architect Howard Cranein Spanish Gothic style.
It was modeled after the Sergovia Cathedral in Spain.
The Ace has two restaurantsthe Upstairs is their rooftop barwith panoramic views of the city!
The LA Chapter is their main restaurant located on the ground floorwith seating inside and out.
We enjoyed a delightful dinner downstairs.
But it were the hotel rooms filled with fun finishing details and plenty of spacethat truly stood out to me!
We got an early morning start to our dayvisiting the LA Martand then over to the Cooper Building.
My outfit for the dayconsisted of a white base of a bell sleeved top and white cropped jeans paired with my most recent kimono purchase!I finished my ensemble offwith block heels and my signature pearl necklacethat is now in my shop.
Tying the kimono just above my waist made for a quick yet finished ensemble. It also made for a perfect layering piece as the day warmed upI could remove it and slide it easily into my over sized bag!Kimonos are always one of my favorite traveling pieces!
The Cooper Building held so many wonderful showroomsincluding the Penthouse floor filled with new visiting brands!
I absolutely fell in love with this dramatic and chic dressby Marlene Olivia a new line in the wonderfulLebel Group!
Pared is a new sunglass brand hailing from Australia.Their oversized frames realyl called out to me!
As did the hand sewn crystals on this delicious coat byParisian based Tara Jarmon!
It is always exciting to see Trina Turk's LA showroom!
