A Lovely Weekend

By Laura @BEBookworm

It was an absolutely lovely weekend we had here in Toronto and I made sure I got out to enjoy it.

I started my lovely weekend with the March Against Monsanto avec mon aime, Lisa. Roughly 4000 people came out for the march. I wish we had that kind of number for AR protests!

After the march, I waited in a park for my hubby to get off from work. This squirrel kept dropping seeds covered in squirrel spit on me. What a jerk.

Can I just say how much I love spring and love flowering trees. I have no idea what kind of tree this is, but it’s gorgeous.

Sunday I had a delicious brunch at Grasslands with lovely people. I was SO late because of the streetcar but I made it! After, some of us went to wonder Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market. None of my photos turned out, but I gorged on a cinnamon bun from Omega Creations and an ice cream cone from Hibiscus. I got pistachio and coconut raspberry. So much food!

My weekend left me so exhausted (but happy), that I didn’t even eat dinner when I got home and I fell asleep at 7pm.
