A Lovely Sunny Day at Beamish

Last Friday, my Leisure and Tourism class visited Beamish living museum in the North East of England. I had been two times before, both of which have been terrible, rainy weather, but this time was so warm and sunny! I had to wear the sunglasses which collect dust in a drawer in my room because its never sunny enough to wear them! We traveled there in a double decker bus, and I enjoyed the whole journey listening to Lana Del Rey. When we got there, we decided to take a trip on the tram to the town, which has a variety of shops, and a sweet shop, which I had to give in to the pressure and bought a load of sweets.

We then agreed with the rest of the class to meet at 11am at the tea room, and the teacher bought the full class of 12 a drink. This lemonade was ridiculously overpriced but it was lovely and I want another bottle right now!

We then went to the fairground, where we went on the carousel like 5 year olds. They all had names painted on the sides of them and mine was called Frank.

We then traveled up this huge hill (it was steeper when you turned a corner) in the tropical (not really) weather conditions, I felt like I was going to faint!
So that was my day at Beamish! I love days like this when you can just have a wander and not really be doing anything productive, just having a nice day out!
