By the way, the box is massive. If you buy it in store, you might want to go back to you car and put in the trunk if you plan to do some more shopping
They always offer a warm toned version and a cool toned version. The struggle is real for me because I always prefer the eyeshadows in the warm toned gift, but I like the lipsticks in the cooler toned kit. But the eyeshadows this year are stunning, so I'm not too disappointed. Plus I have ton of warm toned eyeshadows already.
I am going to include the prices of each item for reference. It is one of the best deals of the season.

I have used quite a few of these products and they are great. The Bi Facil remover is one of the best I have ever tried. It doesn't irritate my eyes and it removes some of the most stubborn makeup. The Kohl eyeliner is also great once you wear it down a little bit. At first, it may tug a bit, but that goes away after a few uses. I use it a lot on my waterline and it doesn't budge. Plus it is huge and will last awhile. As for the mascara and primer, you cannot find much better. Lancome mascaras have never disappointed me. Hypnose Drama is probably my favorite, though. It adds a lot of volume and it is never clumpy.
The eyeshadows are not too in your face, but they are very nice. They have a soft and buttery smooth texture. The blend very easily, but they are quite powdery. You can create some gorgeous, long lasting looks with these two palettes. They are also small and easy to carry in your purse if you want to add some extra drama. They are more sturdy than they appear and have a magnetic closure. I think they would be safe for travel.
I have previously worn both Fashion Icon and Love It. Love It is a gorgeous pinky nude and it is one of the most flattering neutral lipsticks for me. Fashion Icon is perfect for fall. It is a berry shade with a little bit of shimmer, but it is not too crazy. If you are a frequent Lancome shopper, this is a pretty good chance you already have these two somewhere in your collection. I probably have about 5 tubes of Love It from previous gifts with purchase. The Color Design lipsticks are pretty good, but I wouldn't consider them a favorite of mine. They are comfortable on the lips and are long lasting, but they do make my lips feel a little dry. Love It is opaque, but you will need a couple of swipes of Fashion Icon to built it up to full intensity.
Tickled Pink, Love It, Fashion Icon.
I haven't used a Juicy Tubes gloss since the 8th or 9th grade, I think. Even back then I wasn't a huge fan of them. But they seem to be a lot better. Tickled Pink is beautiful and Lancome has improved the formula. Or at least it feels like they have. There are still a little thick, but they don't feel sticky. I do detect a fragrance, but I cannot quite put my finger on it. A hint of rose perhaps? It smells good, but it is a bit strong.
Lancome also included a booklet that gives you an idea of how to use the products for day and night looks.
Lancome's Blush Subtil was one of the first blush formulas I ever used. Miel Glace is an old favorite of mine. But Aplum is a classic and a long time favorite of my mom. When swatched, it doesn't look very pigmented. When you apply it with a brush, the pigment is more intense. Aplum is a lovely color for fall as it isn't too bright and it is the perfect mix of pink and plum.
The train case is perfect for storing other things. I still use the bags from previous years. This set is well worth the money if you are a Lancome fan. It is full of great products and the value is outstanding. You can find it at any department store (in store and online) and Lancome's website.
I also want to apologize for being MIA over the last week. I have been taking some time to focus more on being healthy, and things have been pretty busy with Thanksgiving coming up in addition to many other things.
