I am also sorry for the lack of posts this week. The last couple of days have been emotionally taxing.
The first few products are all by Kat Von D. I love everything I have ever tried by her, especially her Shade + Light Palettes. They are easy to work with, have great pigment, and blend well. Everyone needs a palette with bright colors, and the new Mi Vida Loca Palette is perfection. There is a nice mix of matte and shimmers, plus you get a few neutrals to use as transition shades. As for her Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks? They are my favorite liquid lipstick formula. They are intensely pigmented, long lasting, and they come in a variety of colors. My personal favorites are Mother, Susperia, Berlin, and Bauhau5.
- Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette $46
- Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette $46
- Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Palette $59
- Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick $20
Up next are a few items from the Too Faced Christmas in Paris collection, But, whatever you do, don't be tempted by the pretty packaging of the Le Grand Palais Palette. In fact, don't even stop to look at it. The Le Grand Chateau, however, is great. The packaging is cute AND the quality is good. I also love the Le Petit Tresor kit with the La Creme Lipsticks and the Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set. Everything in the Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set is travel size, but you are still getting a good deal of product.
- Too Faced Le Petit Tresor $29 ($23.20 after discount)
- Too Faced Le Grand Chateau $49 ($39.20 after discount)
- Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks $36 ($28.80 after discount)
The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow is worth every single penny. I have the full size Champagne Pop and I wear it constantly, so I had to have the palette. I have also been using it on my mom, and now she loves it, too. Champagne Pop combined with a little bit of Pearl is highlighter perfection.
- Becca Champagne Glow Palette $34 ($27.20 after discount)
If you really want to step up your glow game, get the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. It makes a HUGE difference. I was a skeptic, but I have used it a few times and it packs a serious luminous punch.
- Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist $48 ($38.40 after discount)
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz $21 ($16.80 after discount)
- Benefit Gimme Brow $24 ($19.20 after discount)
- Guerlain Holiday Meteorites $80
I also love the Sephora Favorites kits. They allow you to try so many great products, and be sure to check out your local Sephora Inside JC Penney because they have a few sets that are exclusive to them.
If you are in need of some new skincare items, I have been loving Kate Somerville's ExfoliKATE and RetAsphere 2 in 1 Retinol Night Cream. I have been using both of these products a few times a week, and they work well. I don't have the most sensitive skin in the world, but I normally experience some mild redness and dryness when using retinol, but not with this night cream.
When the sale is over, I will share what I am sure will be a huge haul. I already have reviews up of a few of the products mentioned, and I will link them below. =)
