6 Multi-Purpose Beauty Products To Try

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Any product that is multi-purpose is one that I love as it not only means you can save some money because it does a whole host of different jobs and it also cuts down on the amount of products you need to take with you when you’re out and about or traveling!

Jax Coco Extra Virgin Centrifuged Coconut Oil – Coconut Oil is a must for any household in my eyes as it truly is the best multi-purpose product. Beauty wise, it’s perfect for oil pulling, as a hair mask, whole body moisturiser, makeup remover and as a base to a homemade scrub. Along with a soft scent, it is lovely and hydrating and this Jax Coco version uses ‘organic and fairtrade-certified coconuts and a special triple-pass centrifugal process’ to ensure purity.

Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr Balancing Rose Mist – Beautifully rose scented, I had a slight issue with the spray mechanism not working properly but I was able to fix it and get it working properly to produce a lovely mist. In a skincare routine, it acts as a toner to add a fresh finish and some light hydration to help the rest of your skincare absorb into the skin well and I think it would be the perfect in flight skincare product to give a burst a moisture. It can also be used over makeup to refresh the finish of your makeup.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel StickThis multi purpose balm for marks, chapped lips, blemishes, rough and dry skin has become a handbag staple. Easy to take with you, this product has the classic Cocoa Butter scent and can be used all over the face and body for an instant hit of moisture. I’ve used this product on my cuticles, on patches of dry skin and it also worked well to stop dry flaky skin on and around the nose caused by blowing my nose whilst I was ill.

ModelCo Lash + Line Superlash Mascara and Liquid EyelinerOne of the latest products to the market, this makeup product is perfect to take you from day to night, even if you’re out and dont have much time to touch up your makeup. It has a really nice mascara that adds length and volume to the lashes whilst the liquid liner housed on top of the mascara wand comes with a small but precise nibbed wand with a deep black formula that applies beautifully on the lash line. Both the mascara and eyeliner are quite long lasting too.

Napoleon Perdis Metallic Multi Purpose Illuminator – With a light, mousse like cream texture, this product is packed full of gorgeous shimmer and with a tint of colour, a little definitely goes a long way, especially on fair skin, such as mine. This product blends onto the skin easily and is a perfect evening highlight shade. On the eyes, it provides a light base of shimmer to brighten up the area and I’ve also enjoyed using it as an inner corner highlight and patted on top of eyeshadow for a light wash of shimmer.

MAC Cosmetics Strobe CreamWith a soft pearlescent finish, it is perfect to mix into any base (bb cream, foundation, etc) to add the most subtle glow and look of health to the skin, which for my normal-dry skin is perfect as it can sometimes look a little dull. This product can also be used as a traditional highlighter and patted onto the high points of the face. I think it would also work fabulously mixed into some body lotion and applied to the skin when wearing a lovely dress.
