Having normal-dry skin, many cleansers on the market are just too harsh and cause my skin to dry out even more, leaving it feeling tight and uncomfortable. However, I’ve discovered some amazing cleansers that are just as effective at removing dirt and makeup without stripping the skin!
Neostrata Facial Cleanser PHA 4 – Combining cleansing and exfoliating, this cleanser is soap-free and hypoallergenic whilst featuring a Poly Hydroxy Acid (PHA) that is suitable even for sensitive skin types. If you follow a simple skincare routine and are looking for a gentle way to exfoliate, this cleanser is for you as it’s a great multi-tasking product. Not only does it leave your skin feeling nice and clean after use without that stripped feeling, the exfoliation factor also helps refine the skin’s texture and tone over time.
La Clinica Anti Aging Gentle Milk Facial Cleanser – Coming in a pump bottle for easy use, this cleanser is a lovely option for those with dry or sensitive skin because of how gentle and nourishing it is. I prefer to use this cleanse on the days I dont wear makeup as it removes any dirt and grime from the day really well without feeling heavy on the skin. With Stem Cell Complex 3, Rubicen Complex and Pure Essential Oils, it hydrates, restores and protects the skin from aging factors.
Rosehip Plus Organic Daily Cream Cleanser – I enjoyed other products from the brand (see reviews here) so it was no surprise I really enjoy Rosehip Plus’ new cream cleanser. Containing Jojoba and Sea Buckthorn, this cleanser has a lovely texture on the skin and removes not only dirt and grime from the day but also makeup. It can be rinsed off or simply wiped off with a cotton pad which will allow the formula to act as another layer of hydration for your skin!
Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser – Melting into an oil on the skin beautifully, this product smells amazing and works very well, removing even stubborn eye makeup with little hassle. After rinsing it off, there’s no residue left on the skin but it is left feeling extremely clean and fresh whilst maintaining a hydrated and plump appearance. A little goes a long way so you dont need much product for each cleanse.
Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm – There are some products that are just so worth the hype you wonder why it took you so long to try it and this product is definitely one of those! The cleansing balm really makes you feel as though you’re having a spa experience as it smells lovely and feels luxe on your skin (you can even use it as a mask), especially when used with the cleansing cloth. I use this as a final cleanse and it leaves my skin so smooth, plump and feeling clean.
Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser – With a lovely creamy consistency, this 99% natural cleanser comes in a tube for easy use and is perfect to use in the mornings to kick off the day and start hydrating the skin. You dont need much for each application and the cleanser leaves the skin soft and supple without leaving a heavy or oily residue on the skin, making it perfect to layer skincare upon.
Have you tried any of these cleansers?
