4 Affordable Liquid Lipstick Ranges To Try

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

For those who aren’t a fan of traditional lipsticks, there is a wide range of liquid lipsticks on the market that have your covered on different textural finishes, longevity of wear and ranges of opaqueness. Today I’m sharing 4 affordable liquid lipstick choices which all provide different finishes to suit your preferences.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Vampire Kiss – Okay, so while this is actually a lip gloss, this shade is the darkest in her range and has amazing pigmentation for a gloss! With a flat doe foot applicator for easy use, the formula smells of lollies and glides over the lips with it being quite buildable, allowing you to wear a soft tint of glossy colour, or go for an almost opaque finish. Being a gloss, although it doesn’t have the wear time of a traditional liquid lipstick, it’s comfortable to wear and isn’t too overly sticky. As the product wears away, it also leaves a light tint of color on the lips.

Bourjois Rouge Edition AQUA Laque in 04 Viens si tu Roses* – This particular shade is one of the less opaque but still delivers on promises of intense shine, a lightweight texture and hydration. The formula glides on like a cream but is of a water finish. With this shade, I found it best to lightly build up the color to avoid a slight sinking into the lines on your lips, however the really hydrating formula, shine and how comfortable it is to wear (no tacky feel) is really lovely, making it the perfect balance between a lip gloss and a lipstick.  I’ll be doing a full post on this product and its other shades on the blog soon.

boe PROFESSIONAL Perfect Pout Lip Cream in Dusk* – For a bright pop of colour, this range is great! The lip cream formula has some slip to it, allowing it to apply thinly over the lips and has a staining finish to ensure that as it fades, your lips are always left with a great tint of color and this helps its lasting time on the lips. The finish is quite light and easy to wear on the lips but again, I prefer to build up this product as I find it has a tendency to pull if you apply too much at once but this issue is easily overcome. I’ve reviewed other boe Beauty products on the blog which you can find here, here and here.

Rimmel London Provocalips in Make Your Move* – I absolutely love this product. From the amazing hours long longevity, opaqueness, feel and finish, these are one of my favorite lip products.
