3 Ways To Make Your Produce Last Longer

By Chantel @k3ona

Hello Gorgeous! Are you tired of buying your favorite fruits and vegetables only to have them go bad in a few short days? Well keeping to see how you can make your produce last a little bit longer.

KEEP THEM COOL:

Citrus fruits will dry out much quicker if they’re left out at room temperature. Instead store them in a plastic bag in your refrigerator.

TURN THEM OVER:

Like many types of fruit, tomatoes shouldn’t be refrigerated, store them on the counter for longevity. Place them on the countertop; this prevents air and moisture from exiting from the root.

LET THEM BREATHE:

Before you toss that plastic bag of asparagus, radishes or whatever you have, poke holes in your plastic produce bag. This prevents your veggies from shriveling and developing condensation.

Gorgeous, how do you store your produce? Let me know in the comments.

Stay Gorgeous!
