3 Quick & Easy Ways to Know Your Skin Types
Pore Size method:
Make sure to cleanse your face well with a face wash or a cleanser and gently pat dry. Do not apply any other product after washing your face for the next 20-30 minutes. Examine your skin in a mirror closely, if you have normal skin, your pores will be visible but not too large to see.
Take a few steps back from the mirror. If you still see your pores, you have oily skin. If your pores are not at all visible from that distance from the mirror then you are likely to have dry skin. If you have more than one pore size on your face then you are likely to have combination skin types.

Blotting or Tissue paper method:
Pat a clean tissue or blotting paper on your face 20-30 minutes or an hour after washing your face. Now hold the sheet up to the light to determine how much oil is visible. If the sheet picked up little to no oil then you are likely to have dry skin.
If it catches the oil on your T-zone only then it’s confirmed that you have Combination skin type. If the sheet catches the oil on other areas of your face too then you are likely to have oily skin type. It’s that simple.

Make sure to cleanse your face well with a face wash or a cleanser and gently pat dry. Do not apply any other product after washing your face for the next 20-30 minutes. Now examine your cheeks, chin, nose and forehead in a mirror for any shine.
If your skin is feeling tight in certain areas like cheeks and you notice a shine on your T-zone then you are likely to have combination skin types. And if your whole facial skin is feeling tight while you make any facial expression like smiling, you are likely to have normal to dry skin. If you notice shine on almost all of your face then you are likely to have oily skin types.
