An athlete and entrepreneur with a world-renowned reputation, Troy Adashun was our interview subject. He is Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of the highly successful supplement company Alpha Lion. Through training and athletics, he helps other athletes and professionals achieve their goals. The motto of Alpha Lion is to be "Super Human," and their products have helped many athletes make huge strides and grow.
With the chance to speak with Troy, we were able to learn more about his creative journey, which included running an eight-figure e-commerce business and at the same time promoting his YouTube channel, which provides athletes and bodybuilders with a great deal of useful information on a daily basis for growing and developing their skills. It is not uncommon for entrepreneurs to take the leap into business, and many athletes also bridge to the same destination, but fail. Seeing Troy's determination and hard work led him to achieve so much is inspiring.
How did you become interested in Fitness & Health?When I played basketball in high school and college, I started lifting weights and became addicted to the feeling of being able to improve your performance and appearance.
Can you tell me about one of your most proudest accomplishments?The most proud thing about my fitness journey is that I've stayed consistent for 20 years. There are many people who expect overnight results, but it is consistency that makes the difference. Having inspired so many people on their fitness journeys, I'm also really proud of the Youtube community.
The YouTube channel reached 100 million lifetime views this year. Last but certainly not least, I'm really proud of Alpha Lion's growth, the sports nutrition brand that I co-founded. We made the 2022 INC 5000 list of fastest growing private companies.
