The big story: Zoom launches its events market

Zoom's new OnZoom marketplace allows anyone to host and sell tickets to virtual events. It is also integrating the ability for nonprofits to accept donations.

The company made a couple more announcements at the Zoomtopia user conference. For one thing, it also integrates with an initial lineup of 35 third-party "Zapps", allowing products like Asana and Dropbox to integrate directly into the Zoom experience.

Additionally, Zoom said it will begin rolling out end-to-end encryption (a feature it promised since the acquisition of Keybase in May) to users next week.

Spotify introduces a new format of music and words, open to all creators: the new format is designed to reproduce the radio experience of listening to a DJ talking about music and also allows the creation of podcasts filled with music.
