Zombieland (TV 2013) Review: It's Lame, But Also Fun

Not everyone's happy about the Amazon's new Zombieland TV series. Well, all I have to say to them is shut up and enjoy the f***ing Show.
I was waiting to see this show for a while. Ever since I saw those first look pics, I went nuts. But, after seeing the cast, I knew it's going to be a lame. And now, after watching the first episode, I have to say it wasn't that bad.
If you want to enjoy this, you have to forget about the Zombieland movie. Just remember the plot details, zombies and those awesome rules. Don't try to compare the show with the movie. Because the cast and the story is not as good as those guys in the movie. That usually happens in budget TV shows. Sucks, I know. But, this one is actually pretty good. And the Tallahassee replacement guy is not bad either.

Story of the series is pure crap. It's pointless and empty. In the show, the team is getting help from a woman (voice) named "Detroit" to find a new home/ survivors as they starts to feel lonely with themselves. Columbus is trying to hook up with Wichita. And Tallahassee goes crazy, failing to save people. They go town to town, looking to collect people one at a time to build a community of their own. And every time, they fails. Even when they meet up with a guy that looked like Mark Zuckerberg, that guy who found Facebook. That scene was so funny. In the beginning we also get to see what Tallahassee really did before becoming the badass he is now. You'd be surprised to know that he was... Umm.. well, you should see it for yourself.
There was a lot of mistakes, lame moments and not so Zombieland-like moments in this show. But, I've decided to ignore them and just enjoy the show. Even though the story sucked big time, the show was filled with hilarious moments. And uses the "F" word a lot. Compared to some of the sitcom's we see today, this is way better.
Many critics say it's a "train wreck". But, I say you should watch it. Believe me, I've seen worse. I already saw the pilot episode two times and I laughed so hard both times.
Zombieland pilot episode is now free-to-watch on Amazon. Go check it out.
