Popular YouTube content creator and social activist Rathidu Suramya Senaratne alias ‘Ratta’ was arrested by the Police at Slave Island Police yesterday.
He was arrested after surrendering to the police over the unruly behavior in front of the Fort Magistrate’s Court during a protest on May 25, the Slave Island Police said.
The charges against him are criminal coercion, unlawful assembly and causing obstruction to the duties of Police officers. He will be produced before the Fort Magistrate today (31).
“Notice have been issued against eight more suspects in con nection with the same incident,” the Slave Island Police OIC told the Daily News.
