Back again this time with a miniature air-conditioner done earlier this week.

For this video, I tried out voice-over narration to see if it would give my video more of a spark. I’m trying out different techniques to give my videos more of a presence to get more viewers and for people to enjoy it. I was very nervous, but I don’t want to rely on just music to entertain viewers.
This miniature took a very short amount of my time, just a couple of hours. I made the box shape using scrap from an old cereal box and painted it with some gesso.

To create the chord I cut an drawstring from an old drawstring bag, dipped it in gesso and made the plug part with notebook paper.
For the design of the air-conditioner I went with my own memory of what an air-conditioner looks like then just looking at mine in my room or googling for reference. That might seem ridiculous to some but for this project in creating 3d work and my art in general, I want to rely less on reference to draw and more on my imagination. The way I did as a child who drew anything that came to mind and didn’t put any rules and hindrance on herself.
