5.49 I struggle with finding comfortable pants that are flattering. I work with special needs children so I have to be able to move and get on the floor. I also don’t want to spend much money on my clothes because they may be stained by markers or ripped. 9.55 In memory of Lynne, one of our long-term 7 Steps to Style program members who sadly lost her battle with cancer this week, I’ve been delighted to see Lynne’s outfit styling mantra of what she called Pops of 3 appearing in our program community since her passing to honour her memory. What’s a pop of 3? Lynne would use one colour 3 times in an outfit to make it a harmonious whole. For her it was frequently a shoe colour repeated in top and then another accessory such as a scarf or necklace. It’s an easy way of adding colour and harmony to your outfit as the use of colour is intentional. I’d love you to share your pops of 3 in memory of Lynne and tag me @insideoutstyleblog on Instagram and Facebook and use the hashtag #popsof37 Essential Guidelines for Wearing a Dress Over Pants
