YOUphoria Fashion Face-Off

By Stilettosanddiaperbags @Sadbblog
Last Thursday I attended the YOUphoria event at Nordstrom in Oakbrook to support my girl Jennifer of Red Soles & Red Wine. Here is what I wore:
Top: Zara (similar) // Skirt: Piperlime- Sold Out // Vest: Nordstrom // Shoes & Bag: c/o Just Fab // Cuff & Nail Ring: T+J Designs // Necklace: Clyde's Rebirth // Watch: Fossil // Charm Bracelet: Gift // Ring: Lili Claspe // Sunnies: Prada // Lip Color: Rose Blossom by Bobbi Brown
Ok, as you can see my outfit changed a bit from when I left my house to when I arrived at the event. I have been in search of a black leather (or faux leather) vest for some time now. I was over the moon when I saw this fringe one. It's The vest I was looking for with a nice and very me twist on it. LOVE!
Here are some photos of the three blogger's racks for the competition:
This event was complete with a photo booth, DJ, and stations for lips, nail, eyelashes, and hair. I obviously jumped on the opportunity to have my nails and lips done, if you follow me on Instagram you saw my pretty wine colored nails and lips. ;)I also jumped on the opportunity to do some shopping as there where lots of gift card giveaways as well!
Photos above: Liz of Sequins & Stripes and myself (she won the Chicago competition) // myself and Jennifer of Red Soles & Red Wine
Using the photo booth: Johanna of 101 Things I love, Jennifer, and myself

I have been swapping clothes with Johanna on BISTM.com for months so I was so excited to finally meet her in person. She is seriously a doll and I like her even more now...if that's possible. ;)

The new look of the third floor (the savvy department) at Nordstrom Oakbrook is AMAZING! I tried on (and walked out with) quite a few new items. I think the Top Shop section was my favorite for sure!

Lastly they announced the winner, congrats to Natalie of Mint Love Social Club!! What a fun night out.Do ever attend fashion events? I really loved this one. Well played Nordstrom, well played...you remain my favorite retail store. ;)
