Story: You’re All Gonna Die starts when Ana (Cardinale), Travis (Rodenbach) and a group of social justice warriors investigate an innocent man. He has been branded a serial killer and waiting on death row. Ana believes she has found evidence which would open the case back up.

As the five friends head to the remote location to investigate, they come under attack by a masked killer. Ana tries to escape but her memories of an abusive childhood start returning, letting her unleash a darker side to herself. However, she wonders who to trust in an area she doesn’t know.

Verdict on You’re All Gonna Die

You’re All Gonna Die is a horror thriller following an activist investigating a serial killer’s case. However, her team gets attacked by the real killer and she must fight to survive against the relentless killer.

This movie has a blend of ideas. One on the side it has an old-school slasher story with Ana trying to escape capture. At the same time, the other side deals with past traumas. The two sides work well in places but can take hold of the tension in the slasher side because it can be over too quickly.  There are a few brutal moments, but otherwise, certain parts get caught up in the other ideas.

Final ThoughtsYou’re All Gonna Die has a strong core idea, but gets caught up in others.
