You Can Race Against Your Own “ghost” at the Nike Unlimited Stadium

An athlete’s greatest competition will always be himself – so says this new state-of-the-art stadium built to promote the new Nike Lunar Epic line of footwear.

The Nike Unlimited Stadium is a concept designed by marketing agency BBH Singapore. Taking up an entire city block in Manila, the 200-metre running track is lined with a continuous LED wall that creates a digital avatar of yourself, allowing you to compete against your own best lap time.

The stadium creates a giant shoe sole when viewed from above.

After setting an initial lap time, up to 30 runners can simultaneously race against themselves, thanks to a special sensor attached to each athlete’s shoe. Check out more in the video below!
