They are also having a contest wherein you can win a Nintendo Switch Lite! All you need to do is collect and take a photo together with the nine (9) cup designs, upload and tag Happy Lemon Philippines. Going back! I am a Pokémon fan. I grew up watching the original Pokémon TV series, memorised the song 'I Wanna Be The Very Best' and a few verses of the PokéRAP. Also, I cried at some parts of the Pokémon: The First Movie. What I'm trying to say is, I love Pikachu so I went straight to the nearest Happy Lemon branch even though I vowed not to drink and feature another milk tea shop again! 😀

The Milk Tea Shop

Happy Lemon is one of the early milk tea shops in the country. According to their LinkedIn account, they opened in November 2010 and has several branches in leading shopping centres nationwide. The first branch I visited is Trinoma. Come to think of it, this is the only branch I visited and it's been 7 or 8 years since.

Nothing much has changed. Their branch on the fourth floor which is near the cinema still has an area for their customers. The problem is, it's located on the side with a little space. I just wish they have a better space like the one at SM North EDSA where the seats are upfront.

Yeah, they are just a milk tea shop but if you are waiting for your order and if you ordered a couple of drinks, you will want to sit down while waiting. Good thing, their staff is well-trained, helpful and fast.

Btw, they are located near the garden area of the mall which is just a few steps away. If you really want to drink your milk tea right away (who wouldn't) and you don't mind drinking it outside, you can just enjoy it at the mall's garden area.

The Milk Teas

Happy Lemon has quite a selection. They have the Rock Salt and Cheese series which was very popular when they first opened. Besides this, they also have other series such as milk tea, cocoa and coffee, smoothie, Milo dinosaur, fruitea, and fresh tea. If you want a snack to go with your choice of drink, they have bubble waffles available.

I can't remember the drinks I had before but I'm pretty sure I tried their Rock Salt and Cheese series. But on my recent visit, I choose their top drinks as per the list on their counter. I got the Tiger Milk Tea which is quite good as well as the OG Milk Tea with pearl sago.

If I'm not mistaken, their pearls are smaller than the usual. I honestly don't know if this is different from the usual tapioca pearl milk tea shops use but I can say that I enjoyed their drinks. Will surely add them to my list!

You can find this Happy Lemon branch on the fourth floor of Trinoma Mall, Bagong Pag-Asa, Quezon City.

Happy milk tea drinking!
