I have so much to tell you about yesterday’s Chi Running workshop. Not to be dramatic, but these form adjustments might change my life as a runner. Even being somewhat injured, I don’t think I’ve ever been so optimistic about my running future. I could be totally wrong and break up with running next week, but right now we’ve got some major flirting going on. But, an update on yesterday will have to wait. I am swamped today trying to catch up on coaching training plans and work reports. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to support her Starbucks, chardonnay and racing habits. So, I’ll bore you with some pictures. First, the tutu extravaganza at the Bolder Boulder from 10K Monday. Clearly I should have been a ballerina. Except that I don’t know how to put my hair in a bun. Or, be graceful. Do ballerinas fart? Yes, they do! According to Dr. Oz, everyone farts at least 14 times a day. So get over yourself if you think you don’t. It just means that you DO, only you don’t know it. WE all know it, however. Here I am being a marine sergeant. Yelling at your children builds character. “If you stop running you will be in a time out until August!” Clearly not enough people run this race. The streets were so empty. Check out the dude beside me. I think he’s drunk. This picture actually made it onto the Boulder, Colorado Facebook page! Here is the finish. I am try to keep up with Emma (lower left) who took off in a mad sprint to the finish. Doesn’t she know you should never show up your mom? Here is Sam trying not to vomit. Or, burping and being really proper. I love producing offspring so I can make fun of them in pictures. Next up, my “after” running form shot at the end of yesterday’s workshop. Definitely not perfect, I need much more of a forward lean, but I’m getting there. My face is cracking me up. I concentrating so hard it almost looks like I’m taking a dump: Finally, pictures from the Longmont Triathlon where Ken kicked butt this morning, finishing in1:19. Okay, off to be productive. See you tomorrow. Did you race this weekend? ‘Tis the season! I am so excited for all of my upcoming races this summer, starting with a half marathon up in the hills (7,000 feet!) of Pagosa Springs, CO next weekend! SUAR
