Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun officially tempts the arrival of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Gen 1. Smartphone is expected to be Xiaomi 12 Ultra even though the right name has not been explicitly revealed. The executive added that future offers will not be a small increase in experience. This device is also tempted to be launched next month.
In Weibo’s post, Lei Jun added that Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 was named Code 8475 was a big jump in performance and energy consumption. This processor was launched last month and Xiaomi and Qualcomm have spent time adjusting and menebug. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is an upgraded version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Last year was based on the 4NM TSMC process and included three cluster architecture from a very large Cortex X2 core, the big A710 core, and the A510 small nucleus.
The previous report shows that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. processor. However, it is not clear which one will be the first brand to announce a smartphone with the chipset. Motorola, OnePlus, Asus, Realme and Iqoo are also said to work on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-powered cellphones which are expected to be launched in the next 1-2 months.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra will arrive as the successor to MI 11 Ultra 5G last year. This brand has partnered with Leica’s legendary camera makers to develop imaging capabilities in the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra flagship.
