The Xiaomi 13 series’ key specifications have popped up on the internet ahead of an official unveiling of the lineup. To those unaware, the 13 series includes the standard Xiaomi 13 and the 13 Pro smartphones.
Xiaomi has started sharing key details about the Xiaomi 13 series ahead of its launch. In line with this, the company recently divulged the Xiaomi 13 series specifications via the teaser.
Notably, the teaser confirms the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in the Xiaomi 13 series. Moreover, the lineup will ship with LPDDR5X RAM and offer UFS 4.0 storage.
Also, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will house a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor on the back. To recap, a few live images of the 13 Pro surfaced online earlier this year.
The company’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun shared the Xiaomi 13 battery life test results. The Xiaomi 13 outperformed iPhone 14 Pro Max in this test.
XIAOMI 13 SERIES SPECIFICATIONS TIPPED
The multi-core performance of the Xiaomi 13 series is 37 percent better than Apple’s A16 Bionic chip. The Xiaomi 13 series GPU performs 42 percent better than the A16 Bionic chip.
In a separate teaser, Xiaomi revealed that the 13 Pro will feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The 12S Ultra features the same sensor. The 13 series will get a 75mm telephoto lens with Leica imaging technology and f/2.0 aperture.
