Verdict on WWII Operation Phoenix

Recap

The movie follows a group of Allied Forces that work to free a captured spy from the Germans. They must risk their lives to overcome the odds and collect one of the biggest secrets of the war.

Best Parts

The movie does a good job of showing us a secret mission between German and Allied Forces. It shows how important it is to stop the German side and how an unlikely spy creates a battle for control. This shows the different backgrounds brought together for the mission and the sacrifices made to stop the destruction.

Worst Parts

The action sequences are not as big as they want to be and never feel as intense as they are portrayed to be. It never manages to create the feeling the Allied Forces would struggle to deal with the German side despite being outnumbered. The performances are also not as strong as they could be with some of the accents being stereotypical.

Final ThoughtsWWII Operation Phoenix is a solid story of heroism in the war.
