The writ petition filed seeking an order declaring State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage is not qualified to be a Member of Parliament was today dismissed by the Court of Appeal’s majority decision.
According to this judgment, there is no legal impediment for Diana Gamage to function as a Member of Parliament.
