Would You Believe Me If I Told You….

That I have a Christmas House Tour

TOMORROW

And I have not put up ONE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT.

 That’s right.  Not one.

*_*.

Because it snowed.

It really snowed.

It’s a winter WONDERLAND around here.

I have been having too much fun playing in the snow.

I even jumped up and down on the snowmobile PRETENDING there is enough snow to go for a ride !

A Christmas house tour for me means….

Cutting some of the pine, gathering some cones, add some twinkle lights and VOILA.

Decorated.

I have been burning the midnight oil, prepping for the big day.

Our Porch Light

Staying up late, mostly cleaning and organizing

Ceiling light from Pier I

and

PRETENDING MY HOUSE IS ALWAYS CLEAN.

BUT

In the waking hours

It has also been about enjoying the highlights of the snow.

Admiring the treehouse wrapped in its first snowfall.

AND

Drum roll please

I even tidied my mosaic studio for the house tour.

Uhhhm, badly needed, I am embarrassed to say.

Confession : I have been playing in the treehouse for tooooo long :)

Winter, for me, brings mosaic time.

It is a WORKING studio tho, so I do have dust.

Pretend that you can’t see the dust on my “hope ~ believe ~ trust” ROCKS….

Instead, let’s enjoy the sparkle.

Sparkle works for me.

Bling ~ Bling never hurt anyone.

My winter project ahead…..

Work in Progress

Seriously, it has been many years of progress.

I don’t want to talk about that.

So don’t ask me *_*.

The next photo is a room under construction….so ignore the background, I know it is U-G-L-Y.

I do have about 50 million necklaces from Bali.

Sorting them was like playing MONKEYS IN A BARREL.

Except,  not fun like the game.

So, my good friend Evie made this necklace tree for me.

I thought it was a brilliant plan.

Gotta run…..

Stacked wood for the Treehouse

I have some Christmas greenery to scatter around the house.

AFTERALL….

I have a house tour ahead of me.

~ HOPE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEKEND ~
