Secret Compass is an independent expedition company providing unique, challenging expeditions to countries in the world that you wouldn't normally find yourself; Afghanistan, South Sudan, Iraq and more. There are a range of expeditions on offer from jungle trekking to climbing mountains, from riding ponies to riding 4x4s.
On Monday I met Levison Wood, half of Secret Compass along with Tom Bodkin, both former Parachute Regiment Officers. With Lev was Charlie Masding, head of Marketing for the company, I was there to chat about a possible Intern position. Mere hours later I heard the positive news that I'd been taken on as a Marketing Intern, I'll be doing this from now on and am most definitely excited about it. This new company is certainly set for a big future with expeditions going to places most wouldn't consider, or even know for their adventure credentials.
Check out www.secretcompass.com, the Facebook page and Twitter! I'll keep you updated on all work I do for them in the coming months; I'll be at Adventure Travel Live with them and probably in the Black Mountains for a training weekend in February - good times are coming!
