Work Wear Wardrobe - VIII

By Tanvi Rastogi @tanviidotcom

Weeks fly by when you have a weekly series. You just feel like you 'just' posted this. #FirstWorldProblems.

This week's question is via Insta-Stories - I look at my wardrobe and it is like I have nothing to wear? How to recreate looks from basics?

I feel this has been the theme of my blog for the longest time - Creating looks from basics. As a grown-up I do not want to spend more than five minutes picking out my clothes in the morning. Especially for a regular work day when there are no presentations, important meetings, etc. My goal in creating my wardrobe has been to minimize the struggle of getting ready, no matter the occasion. P.S. You might also want to checkout the feature "Closet Remix" where I have shared tonnes of ideas on how to recreate looks with each piece three times or more.
I have been talking about this process on my blog for years. I am afraid the answer is easy and simple, but the process takes some times and willingness. If you are up for it, here's how you can create a wardrobe which solves a purpose and is not full of dysfunctional pieces.

- First and foremost read this post - Find your personal style. Once you have it down it works like magic.  - Invest in separates and solid colors. And here's how and why!. - Always go for comfort first. Invest in pieces which match this criteria. And voila, you will never have a 'what should I wear moment'. I would love to hear your feedback if you choose to apply these tips to change your outlook. As for now, below is my recent work week wardrobe.
