WordPress

In November of 2005 I was surprised by an early Christmas gift that came by delivery.

Three huge boxes.

Inside the boxes were a desktop screen and keyboard, a computer system, and an all-in-one printer/fax/ink jet photo.

A former next-door neighbor and remaining family friend had bought me a Dell Windows XP that lasted for thirteen years.

The desktop screen eventually conked out and I purchased a laptop in 2019.

In the year of January 2006, I discovered a blogging site called Blog source. After a year had passed the website announced they would be shutting down yet gave all site users time to find another blog-site to transfer our blogs to.

As I searched the internet, I came across quite a few, but it was WordPress that caught my eye. I had a good feeling right away and signed up.

I copied my over one hundred posts from the prior blogging platform, and the rest is history.

I just wanted to acknowledge that I have been with WordPress a long time. Since August of 2007, fourteen years. Altogether, I have blogged for fifteen years if you include Blog source.

WordPress has changed a lot since I first began and has grown. I loved WordPress back then, throughout the years, and I still love WordPress now.

WordPress has so much to offer. It was, and still is, the best blog platform on the planet and I am proud to be a part of the community.

I have created eight blogs over the years on WordPress: My Voice, Born With Second-Sight, Walking With Jesus, Authentic Expression, Daily Living, My Testimony: The Power Of God, Daily Inspirations (blog devotionals), and LaToya: Living Blessed
