WIWW: The Pretty Ugly Sandal

I’ve seen tons of these ugly workmanlike sandals wherever I go. I was always meh about this trend until I saw it on bloggers who looked great (and more important seemed comfortable) wearing them.

When a trend is pretty and comfortable, there’s no way I am going to overlook it , and so here’s my take on the pretty ugly sandal.

The regular black ones that the bloggers wore in the above photo didn’t quite tickle my fancy. They would look way too plain Jane on me, but when I came across this gold version, I knew this was just the one, and right in time for my birthday too. How could I not resist?
