This summer I am going to two weddings; an old friend from college, and one of the girls I lived with at uni.
Life is getting real!Luckily, they are from completely different friendship groups/aspects of my life, so I can get away with wearing the same outfit to both. Lets just hope not too many pictures end up on Facebook! Last weekend I bought this dress from Whistles; it's one of those that looks a bit 'meh' on the hanger, but a lot better on! The neck strap is faux leather which gives it a bit of an edge, and it splits slightly in the middle under the neckline. I can get away without wearing a bra with it which fills me with joy (seriously, nothing better!) and the colours are gorgeous. I was a little worried about the weather; I didn't want to get something too summery in case the weather is miserable... one of the weddings is in West Wales! The colours of this dress mean it wont look out of place in cooler weather, but the style makes it warm-weather appropriate. I can just throw on a cream blazer if it's chilly! I may wear a little skinny belt to pull it in at the waist and give a little shape. The heels above are from Zara and an absolute steal at under £30. A good height, I've learnt from experience comfortable shoes are a must at weddings! Teamed with a black clutch, and a cream fascinator (I have this one from previous weddings) I think I'm ready to go!How would you style this dress?
