A wiring diagram is a simplified conventional pictorial representation of an electrical circuit. It shows the components of the circuit as simplified shapes, and the power and signal connections between the devices.
A wiring diagram usually gives information about the relative position and arrangement of devices and terminals on the devices, to help in building or servicing the device. This is unlike a schematic diagram, where the arrangement of the components' interconnections on the diagram usually does not correspond to the components' physical locations in the finished device. A pictorial diagram would show more detail of the physical appearance, whereas a wiring diagram uses a more symbolic notation to emphasize interconnections over physical appearance.
A wiring diagram is often used to troubleshoot problems and to make sure that all the connections have been made and that everything is present.
Architectural wiring diagrams show the approximate locations and interconnections of receptacles, lighting, and permanent electrical services in a building. Interconnecting wire routes may be shown approximately, where particular receptacles or fixtures must be on a common circuit.
Wiring diagrams use standard symbols for wiring devices, usually different from those used on schematic diagrams. The electrical symbols not only show where something is to be installed, but also what type of device is being installed. For example, a surface ceiling light is shown by one symbol, a recessed ceiling light has a different symbol, and a surface fluorescent light has another symbol. Each type of switch has a different symbol and so do the various outlets. There are symbols that show the location of smoke detectors, the doorbell chime, and thermostat. On large projects symbols may be numbered to show, for example, the panel board and circuit to which the device connects, and also to identify which of several types of fixture are to be installed at that location.
A set of wiring diagrams may be required by the electrical inspection authority to approve connection of the residence to the public electrical supply system.
Wiring diagrams will also include panel schedules for circuit breaker panelboards, and riser diagrams for special services such as fire alarm or closed circuit television or other special services.

In the above diagram, the alternator is connected to the load by three phase four wire system. The neutral points in both alternator and the load are joined together. The neutral wire serves as common return to all the three phases acting outward from N 1. Therefore, the total neutral current is the vector sum of the three line currents.Under balanced conditions the vector sum is zero and ...

One dimensional (1D) elastic conductors are an important component for constructing a wide range of soft electronic devices due to their small footprint, light weight, and integration ability. Here, we report the fabrication of an elastic conductive wire by employing a liquid metal (LM) and a porous thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) as building blocks. Such an LM-TPE composite wire was prepared ...

Identify the black positive wire on a ceiling light fixture. When you're hanging a chandelier or any other ceiling light, first find the 3 wires coming out of the hole in the ceiling where the light will go. Recognize that the black wire is the positive one, the white wire is the negative one, and the green wire is the ground.

Connect the ve lead to the red wire in the open connector (pin 5). At the driver door pod, depress the RF switch for either up or down (I can't tell from the diagram). In one of those two positions you should see 12 volts on the meter if not then you have a break in the red wire circuit back to the driver door pod switch.

Hello sir.i assembled the circuit but no success.there is a spark of shot when I connect the 36v from the ve end of the third battery to the transformer middle wire.out of the three batteries I used one to supply the driver components.then I connected the other two batteries to give 36 38v .so I supply the trafo with the ve end of the third ...

Before studying the proposed design, let's first understand how an opto coupler works. How an Opto Coupler Works. An opto coupler is a device which encapsules an LED and a photo transistor inside a hermetically sealed, water proof, light proof package in the form of an 8 pin IC (resembling a 555 IC).. The LED is terminated over a couple of pin outs, while the three terminals of the photo ...

Next, Right click to leave the wire posting mode. Alternatively, you can use the ESC tab. Then Finally, press and hold to relocate positioned components. You can also press ctrl, click, and hold at the same time to move the parts together with the wires. If any wire crosses a link of any part, you will end up creating a junction.
